A return

To be honest, I don’t know if anyone reads what I write.  For the past year I have not been taking care of myself, and have not felt like I could take on this project.  To be honest, I’m still not sure what I’m doing.  But here I am September 2025 trying to do this again. 

I’m back in school and we’ve been discussing the use of AI in writing, and how it can diminish your creativity, and  your voice in writing.  While I am not using it in my writing, I’ve been playing around with it for playing with budgets, and projecting what my budget and salary would look like if I took a higher paying job. 

Today I modeled if I received a new role with a big pay jump, then I modeled if I received that pay jump in January 2026 what my budget would look like 2026 - 2029.  It was a really good exercise for me — if you’ve never used AI to review your budget and project different scenarios, it can be eye opening.
